About The Coaching Bridge

The Coaching Bridge was founded by Bryan Powell, Camber Hill, and Petra Matern Russell—three seasoned leadership coaches whose paths crossed for years through shared service in the International Coaching Federation (ICF) chapters of Southern California. What began as aligned values and a passion for service evolved into a powerful partnership to bring high-quality coaching to leaders driving meaningful change in the world.

Petra and Bryan first met during a two-day masterclass with renowned executive coach Marshall Goldsmith, where they discovered not only a mutual commitment to stakeholder-centered coaching but also parallel leadership roles in their local ICF chapters—Petra in Orange County and Bryan in Los Angeles. Petra later met Camber while serving on the ICF Orange County Board, where they led community outreach and social impact efforts. In 2022, as chapter president, Petra brought Bryan onto the board, and together with Camber, the trio designed and launched a pro-bono coaching program that partnered over 80 certified ICF coaches from across Western Region chapters with leaders at the Los Angeles LGBT Center—one of the largest nonprofit service providers in the country. The initiative focused on building resilience, combating burnout, and helping leaders better navigate post-pandemic overwhelm. The impact was profound, with both coaches and participants reporting transformational growth and renewed energy.

Rooted in this success, the founders decided to take their collective vision further. With decades of experience in nonprofit leadership development, corporate coaching, start-up ecosystems, C-suite and Board advisory work, they share deep expertise in leadership, team coaching, and debriefing tools such as the KF360, DiSC, MBTI, StandOut, Working Genius, FindMojo, Stakeholder Centered Coaching, PQ, Strengths-Based Coaching, Energy Leadership, Lencioni’s Five Dysfunctions, and Emotional Connection Training.

The Coaching Bridge was born out of their shared desire to offer the highest level of support to those leading worthy causes. We exist to connect nonprofit leaders with professional coaching that fuels clarity, resilience, and impact—because we believe leadership development shouldn't be a luxury, but a bridge to a better world.
